Arunachal & Assam Tour Itinerary

Places visited:- Dibrugarh-Namsai-Roing-Pasighat-Aalo-Menchuka-Basar-Likabali-Ziro-Majuli-Kaziranga-Guwahati

Day by Day Itinerary:                         

Day-1:- Dibrugarh to Namsai: Arrive at Dibrugarh airport where our representative will meet you and drive out for Namsai which will take around 3 hours. After reaching, check into the lodge and rest. Evening free time.(Overnight in Tengapani)

Day-2:-Namsai-Parsuram Kund-Tezu-Roing: Get up for early morning fresh air and breakfast and visit the Golden Pagoda and also the Buddha Statue which is made out of Bamboo and the wolrd’s largest. After spending some time return to the lodge and do the check out formalities and drive out for Roing via Parsuram Kund. Spend some time around Kund area and continue towards Tezu and Roing. Lunch on the way at Tezu and continue the journey to Roing. Upon reaching check in to the Resort and rest. Evening free time.(Overnight in Roing)

Day-3:- Roing-Pasighat:- After breakfast and check out formalities, drive to some near by Padam village and see around and continue the journey to Pasighat. After reaching ,check into the Hotel or Resort and take rest. After lunch drive to nearby some Adi villages and experience their way of life and later on return to the Hotel or Resort.(Overnight in Pasighat)

Day-4:- Pasighat-Aalo:- On this day after breakfast we will drive to a village and will experience some especially arranged Adi war dance which is called Taapu. And later on continue our journey to Aalo. En route lunch and one can enjoy the scenic beauty of river Siang and its surrounding, one can also experience the feelings of crossing the Hanging bridge on the river Siang. Later on proceed to Aalo and upon reaching check into the Lodge and rest. Evening free time.(Overnight in Aalo)

Day-5:- Aalo-Menchuka:- On this day it will be a early breakfast and after breakfast we will start our journey towards Menchuka the land of Memba tribes. The driving will be around 6 hours. En route one can enjoy the scenic beauty of the nature and also some waterfalls. Lunch will be on the way and continue the journey to Menchuka. Upon reaching the beautiful Menchuka Valley check into the Homestay and rest. Evening free time.(Overnight in Menchuka)

Day-6:- Menchuka:- This day after breakfast we will explore around the beautiful valley the whole day and return to Homestay and rest.(Overnight in Menchuka)

Day-7:- Menchuka-Aalo:- After breakfast we will do the check out formalities and drive back to Aalo. Lunch en route and continue towards Aalo. Upon reaching check into the lodge and rest. After getting some rest we will drive to some Galo villages nearby and will spend some time with the Galo people and will try to learn about their culture And traditions little bit. Later on return to the lodge.(Overnight in Aalo)

Day-8:- Aalo-Basar:- After breakfast drive for Basar, the headquarter of Lepa Rada district and also the land of Galo’s. The driving will be around 5 hours, en route stop at some Galo villages and see around. Lunch will be on the way and upon reaching check into the Homestay and rest. Evening free time.(Overnight in Basar)

Day-9:-Basar-Likabali:- This day after breakfast walk around the villages and experience more of Galo life and their culture. And return to the Homestay and do the checkout formalities and depart for Likabali. En route lunch and one can enjoy the scenic beauty. After reaching Likabali drive to Malinithan temple and spend some time at the temple and later on check into the hotel.(Overnight in Likabali)

Day-10:- Likabali-Ziro:- After breakfast drive out for Ziro the land of Apatani people. The driving will be around 5 hours, upon reaching check into the Resort or Homestay. Evening free time.(Overnight in Ziro)

Day-11:- Ziro:- This day after breakfast we will explore around Ziro. Firstly we will visit some villages and see around the villages and see the Apatani people doing their daily chores and their traditional style houses. After spending some time at the villages drive to the craft centre and the emporium and see how the handicrafts and handloom are made and later on proceed to the museum and see and learn about the rich history of the Ziro valley and the Apatani people. After spending some time go for lunch and after lunch walk around the market area and explore the local markets . Later on return to the Resort or Homestay and rest.(Overnight in Ziro)

Day-12:- Ziro-Majuli:- After breakfast we will drive out for Majuli, the world’s largest river island. Lunch on the way and proceed to Majuli. Upon reaching check into the resort and rest. Evening free time.(Overnight in Majuli)

Day-13:- Majuli:- This day after breakfast we will explore around Majuli, first we will visit some Satra or Monasteries and see around. Later on drive to the pottery village where we will get to see people making potteries and after spending some time we shall proceed to the mask making centre and will learn about how mask are being made. After exploring the places return to the Resort and rest. Evening free time.(Overnight in Majuli)

Day-14:- Majuli-Kaziranga:- After breakfast drive out to catch the ferry to cross the Brahamaputra River and continue towards Kaziranga. The journey will be around 5 hours including the ferry time. Upon reaching check in to the Resort and rest. After getting some rest and lunch visit the Orchids garden and also enjoy some cultural program. Evening free time.(Overnight in Kaziranga)

Day-15:- Kaziranga-Guwahati:- After breakfast this day we will do the morning hour Jeep Safari inside the Kaziranga National Park, where we will get to see the single horn Rhino in the wild and also lots of other birds and water buffalo. After done with the Safari return to the Resort and have lunch. After checking out from the resort proceed for Guwahati. The driving hours will be around 5 hours, upon reaching check into the hotel and rest. Evening free time.(Overnight in Guwahati)

Day-16:- Departure:- After breakfast drive to the airport to catch the flight for further destination..
